With a view to making the most of the green walnut, this product combines the dried walnut with the green walnut. The kernels, the shelled walnuts, are immersed in the candying syrup of the green walnuts, soften and take on the fresh flavour typical of the green walnut.

The result is a product to be eaten as it is, as a dessert, or paired with a soft cheese such as robiola. The sweet, slightly tangy flavour of the cheese goes well with the kernel, which in its sweet syrup has taken on the tannic flavour of the green walnut.
