Bussolà mignon – The classic biscuit of Venetian pastry

The Bussolà is one of the cornerstones of Venetian confectionery and has always been present on the tables of local families. One of its first depictions can be admired in a fresco at Villa Caldogno, designed by the architect Andrea Palladio and dating back to 1570, where some aristocrats of the time relax while enjoying the traditional Bussolà.

Over time the “mignon” version was born, leaving unchanged the recipe that makes this little sweet unique of its kind. For those with a sweet tooth there is also the alternative with chocolate chips.
